The first shared service of all five Presbyterian Churches in Halton Hills this past Sunday (Oct 25) at Knox Presbyterian Church in Acton was a resounding success. With a full sanctuary and choir of 40 we raised the roof as we praised the Lord and gathered around the his Table. A special thank you to Knox Acton for hosting; to Pat Kerr and all the choir members from the churches who shared their music and led our singing; and most of all to Christ who makes us one and makes all things possible!
On Sunday October 25 the five Presbyterian Churches in Halton Hills will be worshiping together in a shared service held at Knox Presbyterian Church in Acton (44 Main Street North, Acton). The service begins at 11am and will include the celebration of the Lord’s Supper. The Knox Acton building is fully accessible. If you would like a ride please speak to Rev. John, Bea Henderson or one of the other elders.
This Sunday October 11 we will be celebrating Thanksgiving with an all-ages service where children and adults worship and learn together. Come join with us as we look at how Jesus and the people of Israel gave thanks can help us live with thankfulness, gratitude and generosity today.
